Pennsylvania Law requires all persons over the age of 18 working with children to obtain background checks. 

ALL Volunteers Require:

• State Police Criminal Record Check (provided free to volunteers)
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance  (provided free to volunteers)
•  If PA resident for at least the past 10 years…a complete and notarized Volunteer affidavit
• If PA resident for less than the past 10 years…FBI Criminal Background Check (requires purchase of clearance)

ALL Coaches Require:

• SafeSport Training - The US Center for SafeSport Training Completion – 3 plus hour online free online training course for initial training.  Refresher training is required annually 1 year form the date of your initial training. Refresher training takes 30 minutes.

• Coach Training: All coaches are required to have USSF Grass Roots Intro training.  It is a free 25 minute video from the USSF Digital Learning Center on the Introduction to Grass Roots Training.

SafeSport Instructions
Our governing body, the United States Soccer Federation, requires adults to complete SafeSport Training.  SafeSport is online and free.  You will need to get a link, instructions and code from our Registrar and Risk Management Coordinator, Tom Grace, by emailing him at [email protected]
